Stilt-Man

This is been a minifigure that has been in the works for about 3 years. It was started back when the heads were being printed for Silver Samurai, Kree Captains, Mar-Vell etc.

(Yes the Kree have been in the works that long too)

For the longest time we've pondered how to go about the stilts. He famously has cylinder stilts, but LEGO minifigure legs are rectangular. Do we go for comic book accuracy or do we go for a LEGO minifigure interpretation of what Stilt-Man would look like.

For a couple years we've looked at all options. Custom molded parts, Lego parts, hell even 3D printed parts (which we really, really hate). Custom molded is too specific, but LEGO parts might be too plain. If we printed LEGO parts that means a buyer only gets however many are given with the minifigure, so there would be no way for them to keep adding to the stilts.

In the end, we decided on non-printed Flat Silver 1x2 Modified bricks. Easily available on Bricklink, Brickowl etc. This enables anyone who buys a Stilt-Man that they can choose how high he soars.

It was a long, tough decision, but we believe it is for the best.
